Dana Foley graduated in 1984 from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Interior Design, where she received the Parson’s School of Design Award of Excellence. Upon graduation, Mrs. Foley joined CRS Sirrine in Houston, Texas – a highly regarded architectural firm focused on corporate design.
After three years of employment, Mrs. Foley left CRS Sirrine to become a Director of Design for Index the Design Firm in Houston, Texas, where she concentrated on design projects for upscale hotels and resorts from 1987 to 1990.
In 1990, Mrs. Foley relocated from Houston to Dallas to accept a position with HKS Architects to serve as a Designer. At that time she designed and managed projects that primarily involved the creation of hospitable environments inside healthcare facilities.
In 1997, after 15 years of employment, Mrs. Foley founded Sarahannah Design in Dallas. She successfully completed numerous design projects for a wide range of clients but increasingly specialized in restaurant and hotel work.
In 2006, Mrs. Foley founded Dana Foley Design. She has been practicing Interior Design and Interior Architecture for numerous hospitality, commercial and retail projects.
Dana Foley and Heather Hines decided in partnership in 2007 that combined their business and design experience thus creating Dana Foley Design, later known as Studio HFA.
